INSTITUTE'S CREST

The Ashoka Chakra in the centre depicts the all India character of Institute and also represents the wheel of progress. The low wheel round the bottom half of the Ashoka Chakra represents industry in which the personnel management functions are now fairly well set. The ear of corn on the other half of the Chakra depicts personnel management functions as applied to agriculture which is the avocation of the largest segment of people in the country.
